I like your smile

Right. I've been busying myself with work and what i got is leg cramps, muscles aches and eye bags that are so heavy i think i look like i got 2 pairs of eyes.

Working has not been very pleasant but at least it's work-able. Morning shifts are the worst because not only the time passes slowly, there's also a fly that is constantly buzzing at my ear that i fear like killing it with the electrical spat! And guess what? Tml's morning shift again! Shitttt.

But something really amazing happened to me the day before yesterday. It may sound a little ridiculous and some of you may wna bash me up, but trust me. It's a one-in-a-lifetime experience. So hold the bashings.

(Typical wednesday afternoon)

I was walking around aimlessly, thinking of what to eat. Thn, i finally decided to eat mac. So i wna walk through the back cos' i wna book seats first, but to go to th back of Mac, i have to pass by a shop cart selling something i didn't see clearly at first. So i was walking and smsing the same time when this Russian/Mexico(i was pretty sure it's an angmoh) came out to me and talk to me.
He said: Hi, how are you?

Blahblahblah then he started asking me do i like straight hair and starts ushering me to th chair and starts rebonding my hair. (All th time i was in a complete-shock-mouth-open-big-big kind of behaviour)

So while rebonding, he began explaining th uses of the rebonding machine, how it works(it really works wonders! no kidding) and thn i asked,

"How much is it".
He said " Pretty girl like you, free!"
(Stop laughing!)

Thn when i smile cause' apparently, he's kidding! But you know what he said?
"Wow, i like your smile"

I LIKE YOUR SMILE

Okay, i have rabbit teeth, my mum even calls me T-rex, i have no idea. But a guy, angmoh, says he like my smile. I cn see it in his eyes, he mean it!(Girls have strong sixth sense) And he keeps dazzling me with his eyes, keeps flirting with me! So i said one thing.

"How much is it? I'll buy it"
The price? "$225"
Okay, i know i'm irrational, stupid, ridiculous, no brain, materialistic.

But hello? How many of you out there has ever heard someone who said this "I like your smile" to you? And not only one time, but a dozen times! And he seriously mean it!

Yeah, i agree on the part that i've no immunity towards Angmohs and it's kind of reckless to spend away $225 on a rebonding machine. But for a genuine, truthful, "I like your smile" compliment? I think it's okay. Besides, i'm not buying irrelevent things, this rebonding machine can be used! Although i don't think i won't used it cos i prefer curly hair, but my sis can use it! My mum can use it. Coffee also cn use it if he doesn't mind!

Conclusion? This is th first time i heard a genuine compliment from a complete ang moh stranger. I heard lies, i heard complaints. Compliment? This is a first!

Okay, next thing. I wna highlight a note on me complaining about aunties. Okay, i've said stuff tht are really mean. But i got evidence to prove tht it's not i'm incapable, it's because of aunties.

S from Centerpoint says: I'm off for the next three days hor, so it's you and j working tgt. Anything don't know or goes wrong call J okay. Don't call me. Haha(Pretends to laugh like it's funny but apparently, it's not)

Me: "Hee(fake laugh), okay.

S: "You call his house no. la, his hp nv on one. Rmb don't call me ah. I'll be real busy"
(Ha, busy with? Gossiping. Wow)

(Typical Wednesday afternoon)
J from Raffles: "Aiyo, I wna go home. S from centerpoint already left lei. Now T is the only one on counter. And Centerpoint counter is way bigger."

(J is on morning shift and supposingly is suppose to punched out at 6. Conversation happens around 6.05)

Me: "Oh, you go la."
(Fyi, this is only the second day i work)

J: "Okay, i go ah."
(And pretends to look around cos' she doesn't trust my skills)

Okay. You be th judge. Which senior actually will discourage you to call her and askes you to call someone else? And which senior will compare you with others when A) It's only your second day of work, B)Doesn't have the patience to see if it will be busy(Sales period) C) Is in a hurry to go home and left you to die & D)Doesn't have the senior-model to guide you along but instead, compares you to make you feel disheartened and left cause' she simply don't care about you.(leaving early is wayyy too important)

I'm not saying i cnt survive after she left, but highlight th point on how irresponsible and how self-centered they are.

Seriously, given my attitude, i would have quit and throw curses on them face-on. But th only thing stopping me was my 理智. You think this job is my EVERYTHING?
But seriously, i think after this job experience, i truely know sales is not my thing. It's not about serving customers,(i'm an ex-waitress, hellooo?) but abt th ppl. Yeah yeah, lecture me on life blahblah. But i've worked at KR before, and ppl thr are not like this! So , shut up abt life lessons.
Sales? Not my thing.
Currently, i'm enduring and putting on a fake smile cos A)Camara & B)I keep telling myself time passes. That's how i survive my time.
Just endure for 2 more days! And i'm free!!!

Will treat myself to a super big Coke, haha!

And speaking of treats, i found my T bar flats, fringe bag and high waist skirts!
Yeah-ness.
T-bar flats-$19.90
Fringe bag-$19.90
High waist skirts-$10(Satin material!)

Big wow! I brought th flats and bag from Fareast, Skirt from blog shop. I'm so bloody happy! But i'm not really satisfied with th fringe bag cos' i'm looking for those all fringe kind. But oh well, $19.90, what more can i asked right?

Shit, tml working morning shift.
